(PDP) in Warri South Local Government Area Mr.
Augustine Uroye has commended Governor
Ifeanyi Okowa for the test run of facilities at the
Stephen Keshi Stadium, in preparation of the
African Senior Athletics Championship, noting
that Asaba is a peaceful place with a unique
cultural heritage.
Uroye, who is vying for Warri South
Constituency 1 seat in the Delta State House of
Assembly in an interview with newsmen
yesterday in Warri assured athletes and officials
from 54 African countries that the event would
continue to be acknowledged in the annals of
history as the most successful in the series of
the championship.
